Love, education, career, religion, & friendship.
These five areas are strong pillars that have shaped many of us and shaped who we are becoming. In fact, many of us believe that winning to some degree in these five categories is what makes a good, successful, or happy life.
Looking beneath the surface, however, presents us with the question of how decisions about matters relating to those different categories are made. To what extent do we fall into (slide) or actively choose (decide) what we studied in school, the careers we've chosen, the relationships we've pursued, and the faith we practise?
Although "sliding vs deciding" is a term primarily associated with cohabitation, we took this concept of sliding or deciding further into key areas of our lives in this episode. To what extent are we deciding what’s best and to what extent are we sliding our way forwards?
Given that we’re approaching the end of what typically marks “youth”, it’s the best time to reflect on both the decisions and indecisions that made us who we are today.
